♫End of School♪Beginning of Summer♫

Hey everyone! Sorry for that long lapse in posts again! Things got so hectic with the end of my senior year in high school and graduation and summer starting and everything. Overall I've had such a sweet last few weeks that It's been hard to find the time to blog about everything ;u;! This is a really abridged version of everything I've been up to.

The last few weeks of school were super relaxed and fun for me ;u;. As an honor student, I was able to exempt all of my final exams so I basically didn't have to worry about any schoolwork or studying past the last couple of regular tests and assignments ;u;. The coolest final assignments were totally in my oceanography class, though! We got to dissect a squid

How cute OvO. We also painted ceiling tiles and other fun cute stuff like that! Since I ended up never having any work to do in school though, I spent most of the week in the school library reading and relaxing and hanging out with friends who could also get out of class. It was seriously a perfect ending! I have lots of pictures of my friends and I goofing around in the library, but I don't think they'd appreciate me sharing them hehehehe~

The weekend after the last Friday of school was this Arts festival that one of my teachers organizes every year called Arts in the Park. Me and my friend Kat volunteered to help out last year so we decided to do it again this year too. It was a ton of fun! Of course, we spent minimal time working and mostly scoped out the food vendors and hid from the directors hehehehe. 

A summary of what we ended up doing: sitting around the festival and snacking all day!

My art teacher found us at one point and put us to work to draw an advertisement for one of the sponsors of the festival. We were supposed to paint it and  probably make it look less ultra kawaii, but I think we threw the rules to the wind and decided to just have fun! Sadly, it got painted over later (but that's our fault for not following the rules in the first place haha!)

There's a sidewalk chalk contest every year at Arts in the Park, and this was my favorite one *u* it's so neat and cute and simple and sweet! 

The next big event was Graduation on the 22nd of May! I can hardly believe I'm a graduate now! It was a really sweet day full of friendship and happiness, and I only cried a really little bit at karaoke that night ;u;. Jesse even came to my graduation, which meant so much to me! It was awesome to be able to go through that huge moment with all of my best friends around me!

The sky looked so great during graduation! They told us to turn off our phones but since I was in the first few rows, after I received my diploma I figured it wouldn't hurt to take a few pictures during the event.

Two of my main babes! Kane and Jesse ;u;! It was so great to see them at graduation together *u*! I could even pick them out in the crowd because both of them have such vivid red hair ahaha! Afterwards, we went out to karaoke to celebrate and have fun! I think I ended up singing every single song, or at least singing along or dancing when I didn't have a mic. Karaoke is seriously one of my favorite things in the world *w*! 

Jesse stayed the night and the next day we went to the mall! We walked around really leisurely and had a lot of fun looking through all the stores. neither of us bought too much either which was wonderful.

I did buy these though! Aren't they the cutest? Forever21's lingerie section is really on point!

I'm looking forward to so much this summer! I have a secret project coming up that will be incredibly fun to share as soon as it's ready, and a lot of neat events I'm planning on going to! Since things won't be as busy as they have been, hopefully I'll be able to keep up with posting once a week too. Well, until then!

Party Time, City Girl~ ♪

Hey, babes! I've been having a total blast these last couple of weekends! I got to go down to Atlanta for two super fun events, the first one being my senior prom! I can't even begin to describe how much of a great time I had! A friend of mine even came from Tennessee to come to prom with me! It was a really magical night of fun and friendship and lots of dancing and singing! ;v;!

I went with my friends Kane and Nat ;v;! Since Nat was coming from far away, he ended up missing our meeting time for pictures so mostly I only have ones of Kane and I ;v;

My stepdad took all these photos and he got a LOT of candids but I really liked this one ;v; He took around 350 photos so narrowing them down to just a few for this post was such hard work! 

The theme of my prom was masquerade, so I used a mask as a hair accessory hehehe

After we ate we finally met up with Nat! I haven't seen him since AWA so it was a really exciting and happy moment!

After that we made our way downtown to the Fox Theater's gorgeous Egyptian Ballroom and danced the night away! It was a really amazing time! I'd love to re-live it *u*!

So that was Prom! On Saturday, my dad invited me and my brothers to go and see a Suicidal Tendencies show at the Masquerade in Atlanta ;v;. Even though I'm not so much into hardcore or punk music, I hadn't seen my dad in a while and I figured I would have a fun time either way! I'm not that picky about music and I'm pretty easy to please so I ended up enjoying it a lot ;u;! I also took it as a chance to try switching my style up a bit ;v;

That top is actually a T-shirt from walmart! I cut off the entire bottom of it to make it a crop top and flipped it around so I'm actually wearing it backwards! Super fly on the cheap \m/

I switched my makeup up so much! I've never done it like this before, but it was a fun change ;u;

The show started at 7PM so we decided to spend some time in Little 5 Points, a great alternative shopping/music district near downtown. I always find really cute things when I'm there though, even though a lot of the secondhand items are heinously overpriced ~A~!  Coincidentally, I saw my friends Rayven and Kelli there! I totally wasn't expecting it *u*! no pictures because I was too busy yelling Rayven's name from the car to get her attention. Unfortunately I arrived just as they were leaving, so we only got to see each other for a few seconds.

Anyways, In Junkman's Daughter I saw this HUGE Kewpie doll *u* what a cutie pie, I wanted to grab it!

I ended up buying this super cute chiffon pink top!

I'm so in love with it! I found it in a shop that's usually pretty pricy as far as vintage things go, but this was marked as $14. I got it fro $10, though! what a score! I know I'll be using it religiously during summer *u*

The concert was really fun! It was nice to hang out with my dad and my brothers and to be in the city ;v;. It was also nice to try something totally different and new to me and to dress up for it! I seriously ended up enjoying myself ;u;!! 

It was so nice to spend my last two weekends hanging out in the city since I'll be moving there for school next semester! I really love being in Atlanta and it seriously hyped me up for spending more time there with friends next year ~w~!

Drawin' Drawin' All Day Long~

Hi babes! I just wanted to quickly share what I've been up to recently! I've been drawing a lot and actually coloring and finishing things *u* I usually just fill up my sketchbook with pen doodles so having three finished colored drawings in about a week or two is pretty impressive for me ;u;! I've been thinking about summer a whole lot since I have some really awesome plans for it this year, so that's more or less the theme of everything uwu! come on summer!

Don't Worry ☆ Be Happy!

Hey babes! Last week was my spring break, and wow it was seriously wonderful! I went with my family down to Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast! I was really looking forward to hanging around by the beach for the whole week and being overall lazy and relaxed. It was basically heavenly! The condo that we stayed in was right on the beach and had a stellar view from the patio *w*

My and my mom went out to chillin' the beach every morning for an hour or two ;v;. The water was really really cold so we mostly didn't swim! I got in once though, just because I felt like it would have been a shame not to ;v;

This was the first day I had to get dressed ;u;. I should have taken a picture without the cardigan on though, oops! I biked 5 miles to this cute little town, Seaside, in order to meet up with a friend of mine who lives there ;u;! I also got some mango and strawberry gelato~

the strawberry is on the bottom but the colors were the same as my nails ehehe! Really yummy uwu

I also found these Jem and the Hologram cup koozies in the record store there!

this whole outfit is made by me ;v;! I took another 5 mile bike ride with my little brother to meet with my childhood friend! We met with some of his friends and ended up going to see Spring Breakers that night. Totally not a movie I thought I would enjoy, but I ended up liking it!

We went to Destin, FL for the day to go on a sunset boat ride! It was so much fun ;w; we saw a lot of dolphins too, which is always a really exciting thing *u*! It was super cold though! I dont know how everyone on the boat was comfortable in short sleeves and stuff, I ended up wrapping up in two jackets ahahaha.

I didn't take any pictures while i was on the boat though ;u; sorry!

Another bike ride! It was so ridiculously windy this day! my skirt kept flying all over the place! I was wearing shorts but imagine how distracting that bike ride was ahaha. We also went to see The Croods that night! what an adorable movie *v*

I ended up wearing my bathingsuit and this american Apparel dress my sweet babe Jesse (Definitely check out his new blog!!) got for me ;u;! I went thrifting and then lunching wit my mom before spending the evening on the beach ;u;! The perfect last day of the trip.

I found this killer t-shirt in the childrens section! It fits me perfectly as a crop top I'm soo excited to wear it *v*!

This was our last day! we went out to the beach in the morning and then packed into the car u v u. It's nice to be home but I seriously miss being by the ocean!

Hello!☆Sewing, Outfits, and Art!

Hey babes!

I hope all of you are doing well ;u;! Recently I had to take some time off from school due to illness, but I'm feeling much better now ;w;! I basically spent a whole week at home trying to find ways to entertain myself , thank goodness my hobbies are pretty low energy! I spent a lot of time drawing and sewing and watching entire seasons of TV shows (Project Runway anyone? ;v;? Liar Game?) but I've got some neat stuff to show for it!

The two things I made for myself last week were this bralett

And this skirt!

I made it to match this dotted bralett I made recently ;u;. I ended up going through my messy cabinet of fabrics and finding just enough black jersey for a skirt like this so I was excited to make it!

A lot of the stuff I've been drawing lately but I'll go ahead and share it now anyways ~

The other night I couldn't fall asleep at all so I decided to try out digital art again! I'm such a traditional media kind of girl, so this was a nice somewhat frustrating distraction from not being able to sleep ahahaha!

Since I went back to school this week, I wanted to try and challenge myself to see if I could wear only clothes I've made for myself all week! It ended up being a 4 day week with Friday off, so there are only four outfits, but I totally could have pulled more together with other stuff ;w;. I'm pretty happy that I've made enough stuff for myself over the past few years that I'm able to easily put outfits together uwu

I actually just went and picked up some more fabric in order to start on a Saint Tail cosplay! I'm super excited about sewing and cosplaying lately, so I'll be sure to post lots of pictures when I'm done with that ;v;!

And as an extra, in all my boundless amounts of free time recently, I finally got around to finishing Neon Genesis Evangelion! I really liked it and oh my gosh is the theme song catchy or what? I did a song cover of the TV size version of it for fun!
